His way of explaining is simple yet very rich and the fact that he encourage to draw and allow myself to make mistakes in order to descover new paths is so touching for me as I struggle with my self-demanding perfection.. It keeps pressure away and creativity in!🎨

This was a great course for just learning ideas to play with materials and subjects. I like that one can work at their own pace and enjoyed Aldofo's instruction. I didn't realise it would be in Spanish (haha) but could still follow along. Some of the extra downloadable material I was unable to access in English though. I also had some trouble at times loading pictures on to the site. Overall - worth while!

I've just started, and I'm really enjoying it. Adolfo is great and very inspiring. I'm looking forward to the exercises and building up my journal with more spontaneous drawings.

It's not exactely what I had in mind. It's much more focused on helping illustrators try different techniques than giving guidance to regular people who do not know anything about styles or the execution of an artistic work, like me and probably tens of other people who, led by the advertising video, imagine will benefit from the course.

I absolutely loved this. It is all about testing, playing, experimenting. I rediscovered the joy of trying materials instead of creating a perfect picture. While trying I discover new ways of drawing, new styles I like, materials I never thought of.
This is not a course of 'how to draw x', it is all about how to get your creativity flowing, and Adolfo Serra is a very good teacher. I am Dutch and don't understand Spanish, and I understood the subtitles. Just watch video first, then draw.

Too much focus on testing materials, very few concrete examples and it took a really long time before I was even supposed to start my sketchbook. He is a very good illustrator, and there were many, many examples of this, but it would be more satisfying to get more guidance with the projects than to try the same things over and over, such as different lines using the dip pen or the brush pen. (Please write "walnut ink" and "mahogany ink" instead of "nogaline" and "caobina" which I couldn't find.)
