This isn't to say that you should shape events into an outcome that you would like for your film. Rather, due to your research, you may be aware of certain events coming up and might even be able to predict changes that will occur. Gaining the ability to summarise your film is useful when it comes to applying for funding, getting commissions, securing contributors, and telling others what your film is about. It's also useful in helping you to organise your own ideas into something concrete and condensed. ”
