About the final project for: Manual Illustration Techniques: Hatching and Dripping

Manual Illustration Techniques: Hatching and Dripping

“During the lessons I taught you all the secrets to create a perfect portrait, now it's your turn! Follow these basic steps to complete your project. I invite you not to just copy my example, but to experiment and invent something new. Practice the movement of the wrist to draw smooth but firm lines. Then, familiarize yourself with the use of markers and practice with straight and curved strokes . Now think about a concept, communicate what you feel, and choose one or more photos that best represent it. So, with Adobe Photoshop, compose a clear and balanced collage creating a truthful situation that expresses your concept.

Following the reference print and grid, draw the grid in pencil on the white sheet, number the squares and draw the outline .
At this point, dedicate yourself to drawing: with hatching, creates lights and shadows .
Finally, color your illustration with the blotch and dripping technique.
Now share your project on the forum! Show everyone both the final result and the processing steps, documenting each step with an image and describing what you did with a brief explanation. As soon as possible, I will be happy to comment on your work. Look at the projects of colleagues and encourage them by commenting on what they have shared: do not miss the precious opportunity to interact with the creative community. Thanks again for making this journey with me!”
