Plan the color of your session and create a monochromatic and complementary color palette. Think about the art direction: where are you going to take the photos? What outfit are you going to wear? Who will be your model? Assemble the set for the photo shoot according to your mood board and with the lighting in mind. Take a series of portraits in direct natural light and diffused natural light. Practice photography with objects, fabrics or plants to make creative shadows. Remember that direction and communication with your model are essential to obtain the results you want. Finally, select and edit your photos making the most of light and color. This is a selection of the photos from my project, but in Unit 4 I shared a file where you can see the whole series.
