About the final project for: Introduction to Autobiographical Comics

Final project

“And we reached the end ... Throughout the course we learned to draw an autobiographical cartoon. For this, we saw how this style is and why it is interesting to introduce oneself to it. We learned to use a notebook. We choose situations that you have lived, seen, heard or thought about for a week and we define what part of that anecdote you would like to tell. Then, we made simple drawings in contraction of time, we put the characters in motion and place them in space. In addition, we analyze the way of introducing texts, what is the internal monologue, the conversation or conversation and the format of unlinked narration. Finally, we saw different ways of telling the same thing, the sequence of four paintings and we colored with watercolors. Something to keep in mind is that the more diverse the narrator's life, the more interesting his comics will be. If your work is different from that of draftsman, designer, bookbinder, teacher or photographer, your life is full of situations related to the before, during and after your profession. Take advantage to narrate. It is interesting that you write down everything you can without judging if it has value or not. Life is full of little things that seem unimportant, but that make up our rich inner world. I chose from your stories those situations that moved you or seemed significant. Sometimes, what is significant for one person is small for another person. If we feel that it moves us, it is worth telling it in a strip of four pictures. I invite you to upload your week of autobiographical comics to the forum, I'm interested to see what your life is like. I'll be here attentive to your stories. Thank you very much for choosing this this course! ”
