“Introduction and preparation of moulage In this lesson we are going to prepare and enter the world of moulage. What is mould? Moulage is a cutting and sewing technique used in fashion design. In colloquial language we would call moulage "eye cut", because it works directly with the fabric on the mannequin. The name of moulage comes from the French, but the English and the Americans prefer to call it "draping". It consists of trying different shapes and volumes with the fabric on the mannequin marking it with pins. We will use a mannequin head to work in 3D for later transformation. It is a ...”
