About the final project for: Punch Needle: Embroider Decorative Masks

Punch Needle: Embroider Decorative Masks

“Thank you very much for choosing us as teachers and taking our course, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! When approaching your project, remember the following steps: Look for inspiration, make sketches and think about the colors you want to use in your mask. Make the final sketch on cardstock, staple the fabric to the hoop, and transfer the sketch to the fabric.

Do several tests to practice using the needle. When it is controlled, you can start embroidering. We advise you to go from the smallest parts to the largest.
Then, finish off the eyes, cut out the frame piece and sew the edges inwards.
Next, iron the interfacing. You can now sew the decoration and an optional lining.
And do not forget that the most important thing for your piece to be incredible is the tension of the fabric and the good selection of threads.
We would love for this course to serve as a guide and for you to be able to make a genuine mask by squeezing your roots as we have done.
It would be great to be able to see your finished piece, we encourage you to share your project and participate in the forum, in this way we will create a larger community in which to comment on all our works and enhance creativity. Whenever our professional commitments allow it, we will also be attentive to the forum to give you feedback on your project. See ya! ”
