Pyrography 101: Woodburning Illustration Techniques

This may seem like a short course, but it really isn't. There is loads of detail from choosing materials and safety, through a whole design process to actually doing the wood burning.

My other half bought me this course for Christmas and, yes, it has taken me 3 months to get through it. But that's the great thing about dipping in/out and going at your own pace.

Don't be afraid to shop around for different pyrography machines/kits, though. Top of the line isn't required :)

Dommage que la traduction en français est laborieuse, car pour un cours comme celui-ci, Domestika aurait pu faire un effort, ils existe quand même des outils de traduction au point.

I think the course is very well designed and easy to understand and the presentation was easy to follow. I haven't finished it yet, but watch the whole course beforehand. I cannot wait to get started.

Me ha gustado este curso, disfruté mucho viéndolo por primera vez y una vez que me compré mi pirograbador, volví a verlo. Ahí eché de menos tener más información sobre aspectos como cuánta presión aplicar, como conseguir una línea fluida con el suficiente calor, pero sin que la línea se engrose por un exceso de calor... Supongo que pueden solventarse esas dudas en el foro, pero al final con la práctica todo va mejorando. En general sí creo que es recomendable si quieres empezar con esto.
