Ben Clark is a poet and translator who's been professionally devoted to literature since one of his poems went viral in 2011. He's studied the relationship between poetic texts and social media and has launched digital initiatives such as #Coronaversos, prompting others to share poetry during the pandemic.
Ben has received multiple awards for his books, including the 2021 Hiperión de Poesía award for Los hijos de los hijos de la ira (2006), the RNE Critical Eye Awards for poetry for La Fiera (2014), and the 30th International Poetry Prize from the Loewe Foundation for La policía celeste (2017).
He is also a poetry mentor at the Fundación Antonio Gala para Jóvenes Creadores and a poetry professor in the Spanish creative writing master's program at the University of Salamanca.
