Sketchbook Illustration with Colored Pencils

Zoe is a warm and personable instructor and I enjoyed this course. If you want to learn how to use color pencil, this is not the class for you. If you want to have an understanding of the value of a daily observation sketchbook practice or "play" then you'll be inspired to do so. She suggested great practice exercises, and included brief explanations on ellipses and perspective - although those didn't seem to fit as well with the "play" perspective.

This is one of the most detailed and fun courses to do. Different to others in the fact that the teacher guides you through the whole process of drawing with tips for begginners, explanations of hard concepts in a simple way and with totally calmness.

Eine sehr kompetente, sympathische und begeisterte Lehrerin! Sie erklärt ausgezeichnet und ich habe bisher viel von ihr gelernt und Neues entdeckt. Ich mag ihre ruhige aber lebendige Art und ich finde ihre Arbeit wunderschön und kann mich in ihrer Kunst verlieren und darin lange mit meinen Augen "spazieren gehen" :)

I really liked the course and the exercises. I'm so much more confident using colour pencils and using the techniques she talks about in the course! Enjoyed seeing her sketchbook and inspirations, too.

Zoë realmente inspira mucho a la hora de dibujar. Disfruté mucho de escucharla dar la explicación mientras dibujaba. Tomaría otro curso con ella, sin duda.

Zoë is really nice and inspiring. I like very much this course because she always explain what she's doing and thinking while she's drawing. There are a lot of tips about materials and good drawing habits.

This is a fabulous course. Zoe is brilliant at explaining things and her demonstrations are inspiring. I had been overlooking my coloured pencils in favour of watercolour paint but Zoe's engaging course has got me using them again - but in a far better way thanks to the course!

Ho adorato il contenuto di questo corso circa le scene raffiguranti gli edifici, le matite colorate e le dritte di osservazione dell’insegnante. Purtroppo devo segnalare una traduzione con sottotitoli italiani pessima. Anche il montaggio è carente, spesse volte non veniva ripresa la fotografia è il disegno durante spiegazioni specifiche ma solo il viso dell’insegnante da lontano. Che utilità ha ? Pregiudica il poter seguire e comprendere efficacemente il contenuto del corso.

I found this course quite interesting and instructive. The teacher is very precise and passionate about drawing. This is very inspiring.
