Time to start painting! Learn how to apply the paint to the canvas by blocking in basic shapes before adding more details. Chris guides you through the process of glazing your painting with thin layers of color to give it a more professional finish with a photographic feel. Stevens currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where he works full-time out of his studio. His artwork can be seen at galleries in New York, Dublin, Montreal, Portland, and Atlanta, and is featured in the Art Collection at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
His paintings capture the daily routines of 21st century Americans as they progress through their lives. Clear instruction, and demonstrates a methodical process / approach. Useful tips on an accurate drawing for this type of painting (or, I suppose, others!).

This was such a great course. I'm sad that it's over! I'm a beginner oil painter, and want to be a photorealistic painter. When I saw what we were going to be painting in this course, I thought This is nuts! No way! But by the end I managed something that's recognizable, and I'm very proud of it. I learned so much about color mixing, using mediums, and brushwork. I could really tell the difference from my first efforts to my finished project. A fantastic experience, highly recommended!
