Watercolor-Style Tattoo Techniques: Creating Art on Skin

Leidy Vargas studied visual arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She went on to study illustration at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and in the Escola de la Dona. She currently works as a tattoo artist, a career in which she has found a space to express her style and showcase her passion for color.

Through her project Leidy Ilustradora, she has worked with a diverse range of brands and has launched products portraying animals that are at risk of extinction in Colombia. She collaborates with organizations fighting to protect the country's wildlife.
