This course is not a "follow these directions and make this portrait" lesson. It goes more in depth in color, techniques, and theory than I've had in any other lesson I've had with Domestika. I was amazed by my own final product. I did that??? Wow!

Me ha encantado el curso, llevaba tiempo queriendo pintar con goauche con este tipo de técnica. El profesor explica muy bien, superclaro y transmite su pasión por la pintura. Lo único que no me ha gustado del curso tiene que ver con la edición de vídeo, había muchas elipsis temporales, omitiendo pasos que para mí eran importantes. Me gusta ver todo el proceso, aunque sea a cámara rápida, saber cómo ha llegado de un resultado a otro y no que lo omitan y te quedes sin ver cómo ha llegado ahí.

Il corso non è certamente per principianti, ma è il miglior corso che ho acquistato qui e merita il 100%. È davvero un corso che attraversa brevemente tutti gli argomenti necessari per realizzare un ritratto a gouache. Non tutti sanno insegnare, non tutti sanno trovare le chiavi giuste per trasmettere il proprio sapere. Mi piacerebbe un altro corso del professor Calil, uno avanzato! E a questo punto ne suggerisco uno per chi non ha mai dipinto in vita sua

Amando o curso! Me tirou uma dúvida que eu tinha há muito tempo sobre como ir compondo a pintura com a escada de valores. O Davi tem um jeito muito único e natural de ensinar e isso me mantém com a atenção fixa em cada parte do processo. Ainda preciso concluir as unidades finais, de qualquer forma sinto que já posso recomendar o curso para mais pessoas. Recomendo 100%!!!

Great course! Very informative.

I'm not actually done the course yet but I'm absolutely loving it. I love how Davi Calil infuses his personality into the course and how he explains things in such a playful manner. I've had a few a-ha moments (loved the explanation of Goethe's triangle as well as the light to dark back to light painting process) and have been positively challenged to be more loose and expressive with my brush strokes. Definitely recommend the course, I'll be coming back to it again and again.

It is a very helpful and insightful course! Not only did I learn how to work with gauche but also I have gained few additional skills and tools for future!

Davi is a very skilled and positive person. Even though I don’t speak his language I got the feeling he really tries to clearly communicate what he was us to learn.

I absolutely love this course. It is different from the others in that paint is used exclusively. I was challenged in my usual techniques. The instructor provides thorough explanation and examples to convey the subject matter. This is a course you will return to again and again.
