Kenny Ruiz has been a comic artist for as long as he can remember, and has extensive professional experience within the sector. He is the author of El Cazador de Rayos and Barcelona with Paquet publishers, and the series Dos Espadas and Malefic Time: Soum, with Norma Comics. He worked alongside scriptwriter Mathieu Gabella and colorist Maz! on El Misterio del Capitán Nemo (Delcourt), Víctor Santos on Infinity, Outrage, and scriptwriter Kid Toussain and colorist Noiry on the Magic 7 and Telemachus series (Dupuis).
He currently produces his own manga series titled Team Phoenix for the Japanese publishing house Akita, whose protagonists are characters created by manga maestro Osamu Tezuka. He also teaches at U-Tad, Escola Joso, and ESDIP.
