About this course
To begin, you will meet Emilio Chulià, his encounter with photography and how it changed his life. It will also share with you its greatest influences and sources of learning, between architecture, music, film and photography.
You will see what is the minimalist current in photography, from its origins and its main references. Then, you will learn the basic concepts of composition, such as scale, light, color, numbers and rhythm, in a comparative exercise between already edited photographs and those of the original shot.
Emilio will teach you all his tricks to achieve a perfect composition of a minimalist photograph, learning to find new angles when taking a photo, how to frame it so that it always adds up and does not substract, and why go against the established It usually gives good results, among other tips.
In addition, you will discover the difference between a correct and an exceptional image and what defines it, understanding two factors: time and luck.

Emilio Chulià was born in Valencia (Spain) and studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. His connection with photography occurred on Instagram six years ago, where his interest is born in the perception of the things that surround him and in the way of relating to his surroundings showing his beauty.
Since then he has been recognized nationally and internationally and among his prizes he has won the "Best Spanish Architecture Account on Instagram" in 2015. He has also collaborated for brands such as Mini, Swatch, Bombay-Sapphire, Royal Caribbean, Fuji, DS-Automobiles, Ray-Ban, Hermenegildo Zegna, Jaguar, BMW, Dior, Huawei, among many others.
He is currently a Fujifilm collaborator as a camera tester for his X-T20 series.
