“ Line Editing In this lesson, we'll start with the big-picture version of our piece and then look more in detail line by line. Line editing is a long process and we'll discuss it in detail, but at the end, I'll talk a bit about proofreading, too. A lot of good writing is actually in the rewriting. It's going over the material again and again to get the text a little bit tighter. There are different ways, and I'll talk about some specifics shortly.
