Playful 3D Design and Animation of Fun Objects
“We have reached the end of the course. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did and also feel more confident now to create your own 3D softbody animations. Let me remind you the most important steps you have to take in order to design, model, and set up your 3D animated ramen soup for your project. Remember: avoid copying the same exact scene I've created - you should rather look for your own inspiration and experiment. So, first of all, come up with a few ideas for some abstract ramen noodle shapes. Model these shapes in Cinema 4D and UV unwrap the ones you have built. Place all your objects on the floor and try to come up with a first composition. Then you animate your chopsticks and create round, flat, or both kinds of noodles.

“ Final Project You've come to the end of my course, and I really want to thank you for participating. I really hope that you learned something about 3D, about design, and about how to set up your own soft body simulations. To quickly summarize this, I will go through all the steps I showed you. First of all, we came up with some ideas for this abstract ramen noodle soup, and we started to create a mood board in Miro together. After that, we started to continue to draw some of these ideas and some of the shapes in Procreate. Later on, we used these as a reference to remodel them in Cinema 4...”
