About the final project for: Botanical Still Life Photography

Botanical Still Life Photography

“We now made it to the end of the course! Thank you so much for your participation! I hope you enjoyed it and have acquired the skills to create your own still life scene with botanicals. I'm looking forward to seeing your work! Let me remind you the most important steps you have to take to create and photograph your botanical composition. First, find inspiration for your still life scene. Go forage for props and objects you want to use in your photo shoot.

After you have your objects, figure out where you want to shoot and what you want to use as your background (remember color and lighting). Once you have your location sorted, you can start building your still life! Play around with heights, curves, and shapes.
Finally, it's time to photograph your scene - remember all the settings that are perfect for this style. After you shoot, you're ready to upload and edit your final image!
Don't forget to take pictures of all the process and share them in the forum together with your final image. I also encourage you to comment on each other's projects - exchanging ideas can be very helpful and inspiring. I'll also be there answering your questions and giving you feedback as often as I can. See you in the forum! ”

Remember to work with the natural curves of your florals. Play with height and cut things down without hesitation. Get creative with perspective and cropping. It's amazing how a shift in angles can create a completely different scene. Once yo...”
