Intro to Portrait Sketching: Draw in Real-Time
“I hope you've enjoyed this course, thank you so much for taking part! It's now time to work on your project. This could mean finishing the sketch you started by completing the course tasks or making a brand-new project! Either way, I strongly suggest you take the time to gather inspiration and make a unique project of your own. Make sure to keep track of your progress with different pictures of each step. It'd be great if you could also explain the choices you've made along the way and tell me if you have any doubts. This will help me guide you better if you need advice. Here are the main steps to follow: Choose the subject you want to draw. It can be a live model or a mirror if you want to draw yourself.

“Thank you so much for taking this course. I appreciate you taking the time to learn about my art. Being a courtroom artist has its ups and downs, but I enjoy being a courtroom artist. I take a lot of pride in my work. My hope is that you can take what I taught and apply it to your sketches. Now remember the principles of light, medium and complex. You don't have to draw every leaf on a tree or every brick on a building. Go out there and practice, practice, and practice. The more you draw, the better and quicker you're going to be. Please participate in the forum so I can see your drawings. ...”
