“Dear students, we have reached the end of the course and you have seen how I carry out my cartoons. We have seen from my influences to the finishes of the illustrations. To make your final project, I encourage you to choose subjects that interest and motivate you, in this way it will be easier for you to internalize them and highlight the similarity. Following the steps of this course you should achieve a unique and personal result with your chosen characters. It is not necessary that you copy my style in a literal way, I encourage you to find or apply your own style. For me, the moment of research and observation is as important as the one of capturing the caricature. It is worth investing time in the previous steps, because they allow the final work to flow in a more agile and natural way. Go saving process images that perfectly document all the steps taken to be able to share them in your final project. See you in the forums. I would like to review your practices and comment on what you want. My workload does not allow me to respond immediately, but I will be happy to do so as soon as I have a little time. Participating in forums, congresses and groups of illustrators has helped me a lot to progress in my career.
