About the final project for: Acrylic Illustration for Products

Acrylic Illustration for Products

“You have reached the end of the course, thank you for choosing me as your teacher. It has been a pleasure sharing this adventure with you. Now you are ready to carry out your own final project. Let me show you an example of how I would like to see your final project: The first steps: Choose the style in which you want to paint and put together a mood board of inspiration, choose the aesthetics and the emotions you want to convey. From there choose your own color palette.

The sketch: Paint a sketch of your design on paper, using the mood board you created as inspiration, and trace the silhouette of your design online to pass it over your final object.
Let's get to work: Paint the base of the object, let dry. Once dry, make the base of the figures, start from the lightest colors to the darkest. Next, paint the shadows, highlights, and details layer upon layer. Finish with touches of thinner brushes and acrylic markers. Take a good photo of your project and share it. If you are going to sell it or give it away, fill your delivery with details that transmit all your essence.
If the project does not turn out as you expected, do not worry, it is a matter of practice. With what you learned in the course you will be able to make more than one project a reality, so give free rein to your imagination and allow yourself to create all those pieces that flow in your mind. Also, when you carry out your project, remember to be patient and enjoy every part of the process. Painting is made to be enjoyed! Please, don't forget to share your final project, so I can see it and give you feedback. I ask you to be patient because it may take me a while to answer you. I invite you to make use of the Domestika forum to create a community, you can share advice and knowledge with your colleagues. See you soon on the forum!”
