“Bindings and finishes In this class, I will show you some of the main finishes and bindings that a book can have. Starting with the binding, we have the brochure and normally it is made on a more rigid paper, a paperboard, 250 grams, with a lamination. It is a flexible paper that covers the inside of the book. In terms of cost, it has a low production cost. and on the other hand, it has a slightly shorter durability. It is the most used type of binding in Brazil. Here we have another type of binding, which is the hardcover book. In the hardcover book, the cover can be in fabric or on paper....”
