“ Finding Inspiration: Mood Board and References As I mentioned before, for references, you don't need to grab one photo and copy that exactly. You can mix it up. As I showed you, I have one image as a reference for the face, but here I have a bunch of others that I can use for hair. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do at first, so I gathered a couple of different examples that I can use when we start drawing. I love this one. I love the hair flying in the wind slightly.
