About the video: Finding Inspiration: Mood Board and References 2
Overview
“As you progress through the ideation stage, it's important to gather as many references as possible. Don't base your image on one visual reference. Your work should be personal, not copied. I recommend collecting themed images related to the different aspects of your piece. In this lesson, I will walk you through the folders I created for the hair, the clothes, the jewelry, and the landscapes. You will learn the importance of mixing things up to create the concept you're looking for, and instilling your own twist!”
In this video lesson Fernanda Suarez addresses the topic: Finding Inspiration: Mood Board and References 2, which is part of the Domestika online course: Digital Painting of Characters in Photoshop. Learn digital painting techniques to create detailed character portraits by exploring brushes, colors, values, and designs.
