Ada Zielińska is an illustrator and graphic designer from Poland. She completed a bachelor’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and a Master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. After publishing her work on social media she later began attracting work which allowed her to turn her hobby into a career.
Since then Ada has collaborated with brands including Adobe, Netflix, Levi’s, the National Museum in Gdańsk, and Fast Company Magazine. She also runs a graphic studio alongside a fellow illustrator where she designs album covers, visual identities, books, exhibitions, and more. She shares her work, which combines modernity with the nostalgia of the 60s and 70s with over 18K followers on Instagram.

PlusI'm a fan of Ada's work and was intrigued to know more about her process. I'd love to delve deeper into her design decisions as she draws – understanding the nuances behind her choices would be invaluable and I often felt that it was sometimes overlooked in favor of silence. For instance, she used a photo reference for lighting balls, but I'd like to have more insight into her thought process there. Despite this, the course was fantastic and I'd enroll in a more detailed and advanced one by her!
