About the video: Your Theme and First Sketches

Overview

“Some of my best work has come about through a rigorous planning process. Especially by brainstorming ideas visually and drawing sketches to support my chosen theme. In this lesson, I will show you how I do this through word associations to rough thumbnail sketches. In this video lesson Don Kilpatrick III addresses the topic: Your Theme and First Sketches, which is part of the Domestika online course: Contemporary Printmaking with Linoleum. Discover the versatility of linocut art and learn to create unique prints by carving and layering designs.
