Thomaz Bastos is a Brazilian film editor based in São Paulo. He trained in multimedia design at the Billy Blue College of Design and Swinburne University in Sydney, Australia where he lived for seven years. He began his audiovisual career as an editor for a large production company where he worked on projects for important television stations including GNT, Canal BIS, and SONY.
He currently works as a freelancer and has made commercials for names like Red Bull, Mercedes-Benz, Converse All Star, Fox Sports, Shell, and O Boticário, as well as collaborated on two winning projects at the Cannes Film Festival: HP and Nosferatu.
