“From Your Sketch to the Refined Artwork In this lesson, I'm going to show you how I transfer the collage sketch into the refined artwork. We're ready to start painting our final project. What I do is paint layers, so I'm going to start with painting the background. I'm using both gouache and flash for this painting. I think they mix well together, and I'm adding a little bit of water to make it more easy to flow on the paper. When I am painting the background, I look at my sketch and I measure, so perhaps, in my sketch, I can see that approximately a third of the painting is the ground and ...”
