Introduction to Clay Figurative Sculpture

An excellent course!
I am trained as a painter, but in high school years I also did clay sculpting in the art school, which I liked at the time but never took it too seriously. Now, 12 years later, I was thinking about taking a small break from painting in oder to understand form and shape better and play again with clay.
This course was a wonderful choice, with clear instructions, the patterns are a GREAT TIP, and the explanations and videos are very well done.

Excellent class. I do a lot of figure sculpting, and the slab technique is unique and a lot of fun to do. Clear instruction and well done videos.

This was an excellent course. Christina is an amazing artist and a great teacher. She has prepared the course very well. The figure is a complicated subject and Christina has made success with it attainable with her practical and clear approach to teaching. She explains everything in detail and her demonstrations are clear and well explained. She also talks about her aesthetic decisions which I loved to hear. Christina is a very generous teacher!

I would thoroughly recommend this course for a beginner. Great technique to use and very labour saving. The teaching was excellent and clear and concise.

This was an excellent course. I was thrilled to come across it. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. She does a fabulous job of explaining what she’s doing, and she anticipates any potential struggles and address of them. From the introduction to the final moments of the last video it was just an incredible creative learning experience.

Excellent course. Cristina is a great teacher, explaining and displaying the techniques clearly and simply. Really recommend this to anyone who wants to learn not only slab techniques but to watch Cristina work is a masterclass.
