Introduction to Clay Figurative Sculpture

Amazing slab method!!

Christina's course was the absolutely the most informative and easy to follow and understand of any class I have ever experienced. I feel like I learned so much and can not wait to get started on my own piece. Being new to sculpture, I am very excited about all I have learned and I know I will use this as a reference text for my future work. Thank you, Christina, for giving of your time and experience. I love your work.

I enjoyed how clear instructions are and easy to view demonstrations from many angles. Breaking the process into short clips is excellent. I really enjoyed the process of explaining setup and using stencils to make shapes. I can't wait to make a work.

I love all of Cristina Cordova's videos. I especially like this one, because it is so easy to see what she is doing--the camera is very close up and clear on the proportions of the face. Everything she says is so straightforward and has steps that make sense. I would recommend this video to anyone interested in figure sculpture, clay, etc... even if you don't have studio space or time to do ceramics at this time, it is very inspirational just to watch and learn for future learning.
