Introduction to Clay Figurative Sculpture

I chose the course because Cristina Córdoba’s work speaks to me. I also like to use the sculpture surface as a narrative, and have been wanting to hand build a bust from a slab for ever! This was a perfect match to what I was looking for and Cristina explained her process well. If you enjoy hand building clay, I highly recommend this course from this teacher.

This is the first on line art class I've ever taken and I loved every bit of it. I draw with charcoal and pastels but have always wanted to sculpt. After watching this series of videos I can't wait to start!. One thing to mention, the review episode was often blurry. After a few seconds it cleared up not sure if it was a camera issue or a glitch in my computer. Thank you again this was a wonderful class.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Cristina demonstrated and explained everything in a very straightforward and clear manner. It was easy to follow her steps. Her technique is now a great starting point for me to expand my creativity. Wonderful course.

I have loved every part of this course and use so many of the ideas in my own work with the freedom to do it my own way as well. Perfect teaching! Have recommended this to others.

Cristina is an excellent artist and teacher. Her steps are easy to follow, well-paced and structured. her guidance was presented with beautiful patience and an obvious love for her art. Due to all these positive factors, I was able to create my own version of her exquisite sculpture. I have so far been unable to post any images due to the upload pixel limitations, but I will keep trying to work out a way...
I highly recommend this course to anyone, no matter what their skill level.

Un buen curso para empezar a modelar esculturas en arcilla aunque no tenga ninguna experiencia con la arcilla. Bien explicado, ameno y se observa bien todo el proceso creativo. Muy recomendable aunque este en inglés es fácil de seguir.
