Introduction to Clay Figurative Sculpture

Quando fiz o curso 01 da DOMESTIKA estava assustado com a pandemia. Como gostava de cordas comecei fazer macrame. Neste curso 02 de escultura entrei porque pensava que sabia tudo de ceramica. A Profa. Cristina provou que eu nao sei é nada ! Com a clareza e talento pela sua arte e os detalhes que ela revelou na construçao da sua peça construida no seu curso! Foi assim que ela expandiu o conceito usado na musica, que toda arte deve exprimir a voz do coraçao! MInha gratidao a DOMESTIKA e Cristina!

Christina is a very accomplished sculptor and I thoroughly enjoyed her workshop. I would love to see more...maybe a small body next time. I loved the use of templates and I am intrigued to try more after this class. Thank you so much for your talent and use of materials!

Incredible course, I have learnt so many new techniques from Christina. Her method of using templates gives a solid and consistent approach to tackling the head and torso, and makes this task easily accessible for any skill level. I appreciate her talent as an artist and as an instructor, she has an admirable knowledge of the human form and skilfully translates that to her audience in well portioned lessons that do not overwhelm the viewer. I hope there are more courses to come from Christina.

Cristina Cordova is an excellent teacher! This is the best class that I have ever taken from Domestika.
It was easy to follow and so detailed that I believe anyone can learn to create a beautiful bust from the extraordinary content. Cristina shows several techniques for finishing the project and her knowledge of clay, anatomy, texture, and technique are superb.
