“About me My name is Jörg and I live in Berlin. I have been working as a full-time photographer since 2016. I have been interested in photography since my childhood I got my first camera when I was 12. The first picture I took with this camera, shows my black cat in the blazing sunlight. Very hard contrasts. Of course you don't do that at all. I still love to photograph cats. For example my own cat who has very fine white hair. His greatest passion is urban photography, which he uses as a gateway into sociological investigation. Observation forms an essential part of his creative process, from the perspective of a wanderer with no fixed destination. He quickly discovered that his smartphone photos had great artistic potential, and that as a photographer, the portability of the device allowed him to fully immerse himself in his surroundings in order to capture the reality of the hustle and bustle in his images.
