“Wall hanging: middle segment In the second segment I tie a pattern of short spirals, which I later decorate with fringes. For the spirals I use four threads again and tie half square knots. I tie six half square knots among themselves. At the fourth half square knot the spiral turns and I reach for the other side. After the six half square knots I leave a little space about an inch, and tie a whole square knot. Leave so much space that your fingertips fit through the holes.
