In my opinion the title is misleading. I recommend this course for a person who wants a close view of Hola Lou`s workflow. But it does not explain the rules of composition. Nevertheless the content is valueable.

Die Arbeiten von Hola Lou gefallen mir sehr und ihre abstrakte Bildsprache ist visuell sehr ansprechend. Der Kurs bietet interessante Einblicke in abstraktes Arbeiten. Für mich blieb der Schritt von den verwendeten Fotos zu den daraus entwickelten Formen jedoch teilweise schwer nachvollziehbar. Obwohl Abstraktion natürlich viel Freiheit erlaubt, hätte ich mir an manchen Stellen etwas mehr Erklärung gewünscht, was sie konkret in den Fotos sieht und wie daraus ihre Linien und Formen entstehen.
