About the final project for: Floral Bouquet Creation for Beginners

Creating bouquets from scratch

“Thank you very much for your trust, I hope I have reached your expectations. Hand bouquets are one of the most important works in floral design and a true test of skill and good taste. Do not get frustrated if you are not able to get it the first time, practice over and over again until you get it. Do not force to get exactly the same materials that I have used, surely you will not find yourself in the same location or season. Create something of your own, something that represents you, and feel free to create with the flowers. Before we say goodbye, we are going to review the key phases of the project. It would be great if you briefly explain what you have done in each one and accompany the explanation with one or more images. In the course I have taught you 3 techniques, but to create the bouquet of your final project it is enough that you choose only one of them. In this case, I am going to review the phases of creating a vertical bouquet. In Unit 3 you can go back over the process of creating the other two types of bouquet. Preparation In this phase, as we have seen in the course, you will have to choose the style of bouquet that you are going to create, the technique, the materials and the color palette that you are going to use. To create this vertical bouquet I have used the parallel technique, which allows all the elements to go straight up. First of all, I have chosen the materials to create the bouquet and I have cleaned and prepared them. I have chosen a chromatic range of basic colors, especially blue, red and yellow, but the dominant part of the range is blue, with elements with different intensities of this color. Here you can see the types of materials that I have used, with their corresponding names, and all already arranged on my work table.

Assembly of the branch When you have everything ready, assemble your bouquet. Remember that you can always stop the process and put it in water if you see that it is in your hand for a long time. I have started the assembly with two branches of rudbekia and, from then on, I have followed the process that I showed you in the lesson "Vertical bouquet" of Unit 3.
Final result When you've finished the bouquet, take a picture of it so you can share it with everyone. Do not forget to review the tips on conservation that we have seen in Unit 4 so that it lasts long and always looks perfect. You got it!
Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your bouquet and the steps that have led you to it. I am looking forward to seeing your project and giving you feedback. Although I ask you for your patience, I will try to access the forum as much as I can and what my professional projects allow me. Finally, don't forget that at Domestika we create community; I want to invite you to actively participate in the forum, not only sharing your progress, but also giving advice and trying to help others. See you on the forum!”

“Final project In this video I will tell you about the final project. In the course I have taught you how to perform three different techniques. Now the idea is that you do one of those techniques. Choose the technique with which you feel most comfortable, also by the type of shape or types of flowers that you can get. When it comes to getting to work, Remember that good material handling is very important. It will depend on it let the flowers last long enough. When you go to perform the technique, do not get frustrated, especially if it is the first time you do it. Practice as many times as...”
