About the final project for: Creative Concepts for Interior Design

Interior design: create creative concepts

“Thank you very much for participating in our course and joining us during these hours. It was brief but intense. Before we say goodbye, we are going to review the key phases of the project. It would be great if you briefly explain what you have done in each one and accompany the explanation with one or more images. Preparation Choose the space for which you are going to create the creative concept. It can be for a real project that you have in hand or for one that you dream of carrying out. Remember that 2060 The Newton Hostel has served as a common thread for us during the course, but the best thing is that you create a creative concept for another space.

After choosing the space, complete the brief and analyze your market and competition to have a broader vision of your sector.
Concept Create your concept. Follow the conceptualization guidelines we saw at 2060 The Newton Hostel. Open your mind and let all your ideas surface, uncensored. Keep in mind that, like any creative process, it takes time. Little by little you will see the way. ;-) We synthesize the philosophy and values of the project in the manifesto that we show you in Unit 3.
Application of the concept Apply the creative concept in your space from the macro to the micro. To do this, use all the elements that give life to a space: colors, materials, lighting, furniture and decorative objects. Remember that every decision you make must be conceptually consistent and justified. That something you like or is beautiful is not enough. ;-) We created a mood board to summarize the decisions made in this step.
Sensory experience Design the conceptual sensory experience of your space. To do this, you must capture your concept in storytelling, graphics and signage, and enhance it through aroma and sounds. Here we show you some examples, although you can see everything in full between the videos of the course and the additional downloadable resources.
Presentation and credits Create the final presentation of your project. Do it as you would do it to your client. Justify each decision, illustrate your ideas with images, videos, collages or any visual resource that helps you sell your idea. And take care of the details. Finally, do not forget to mention all the people who have collaborated in the project. And thank them. As we always say, "more lego and less ego"
Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your project and the different phases of its development. We are looking forward to seeing your project and giving you feedback. Although we ask for your patience, we will try to access the forum as much as we can and what our professional projects allow us. Finally, we want to invite you to actively participate in the forum. Domestika is above all a creative community. The more we interact and share, the more we all learn and enjoy. A hug! ”
