Classical Portrait Drawing: The Renaissance Man’s Method

This is the second Domestika course I've done with Michele Bajona. I did this because I found the first so rewarding. I have absolutely loved Classical Portrait Drawing The Renaissance Man's Method. I would recommend it to anyone who is a) fascinated by art materials (and aren't we all?) and b) wants to improve their portrait drawing. The course is packed with fascinating and educational materials. As I said, I just loved it. Thanks Michele.

An interesting course for those who want to know more about Renaissance style drawing and the brilliant mind of Leonardo da Vinci. Thank you Michele!

What a great course. Michele brings you into the mind of Leonardo da Vinci and shows you how Leonardo thought, and both drew and painted a beautiful work of art. I've been painting and drawing for sometime, but learned a lot from this course. I would recommend it to both new and old artist who are interested in how a master started and finished a beautiful drawing.

This is a surprisingly good course. Michele is an effective teacher, full of passion about this particular subject. Unlike other courses, the historical perspective of Leonardo’s role is explored in depth to better understand the context of his art. With this knowledge, the lessons are very valuable. Highly recommended.

Excelente curso

Even though I prefer ink and ink wash, and work mainly in monochrome, the techniques presented in the course focus on more than just mastering a medium. The teacher is knowledgeable and clearly guides the student with attention to details that the old masters perfected.

De los mejores cursos que he hecho. Te enseña a hacer varios modelos de principio a fin. Un maestro muy recomendable.

Un corso molto interessante, sia per l'inquadramento storico, sia per i contenuti pratici. E' impegnativo, ma al tempo stesso rilassante. L'insegnante trasmette la passione per il metodo dei grandi maestri, offre spiegazioni chiare ed è presente nel forum anche a distanza di tempo. Per chi vuole approcciarsi ad uno stile senza tempo, quasi "filosofico", il quale si discosta dalle tecniche più in voga del ritratto contemporaneo, ma proprio per questo permette di sperimentare con originalità.

È un corso che spiega tutto nel dettaglio, partendo dalle basi. Sicuramente un corso che va visto più volte e messo in pratica. L’insegnante parla in modo tranquillo e rilassato e questo permette di seguire con calma le lezioni.
