About the final project for: Creating Film Projects from Scratch

Creating Film Projects from Scratch

“Hello! If you are here, it is because you have reached the end. Thank you very much for your company and attention! Before we say goodbye, I want to give you some advice so that you keep them in mind during the process: • Give yourself time to write. Bringing ideas to paper requires a lot of rigor, work and inspiration. • Try to work in a comfortable environment, away from things that make noise or bother you. • Have fun with your idea: visualize that film or audiovisual work as if you were about to record or show it. Here's a brief reminder of the steps we took in the course so you can replicate them in your own projects: Idea, tagline and storyline Choose an idea and write down everything that comes to mind with that idea. From these concepts, create the tagline and the storyline of your story.

Plot synopsis and motivation letter Using the materials you already have, create and write a plot synopsis for your story. He also writes the director's motivation letter clearly and concisely. Explain in it how you want to approach your story.
Characters Design and describe the characters in your story. You can help yourself with reference images that inspire you and thus create a puzzle of characters.
Environments and worlds In addition, explore and determine the environments and places where the story will take place. Start by brainstorming concepts, select the most relevant ones and look for images that represent them.
Audiovisual proposal and mood board Develop the audiovisual proposal and include all the materials you already have. You should also make a mood board with about 80-100 images that you collect and select throughout the project.
Address folder With all the above items, make your address folder with some editing software. In the unit "The address folder and what to do with it", I have shared the finished one that I have worked on during the course.
Share your step-by-step process and the final result on the forum by clicking "Create your project". I will stop by from time to time to see your progress, but I ask for your patience, since I also have to attend to my professional assignments. Thank you and good luck!”

“Final project Hello, I would like to thank you for taking this course. I hope I have been able to guide you in the development of an original idea and in the creation of an address folder or dossier. It is very important to understand that this is a genesis project of an idea that is mutating and growing towards a new project. It is a lonely job that needs a lot of inspiration. Give yourself the time for that. Define your schedule and your work setting. It is essential that you choose an idea that you like, blow your mind, so you can work it, polish it and create it towards a new project. Y...”
