About the final project for: Editorial photo with basic equipment

street fashion photography

“You have reached the end of the course, thank you very much for accompanying me on this path. I hope that what I taught you has been useful, liked, and above all, that you have learned! The mysterious world of fashion photography can be quite intimidating, but now you know the best tricks to achieve results worthy of international magazine covers. As a course project you will have to develop a fashion photographic session, from beginning to end. You must share at least four photos on location and with photographic equipment. Also, I want to share an example of how I would like to see your entire process: The mood board Create a mood board based on a concept. Remember to choose images that help exemplify your idea and do not put images that do not have to do with each other.

Team Choose your group of creatives: your model, and if you can add a make up, and a stylist, great! The important thing is that the sensibilities and portfolios of your team are adequate for the project you have in mind.
The location Choose a location that fits the project, and that is according to your mood board. Look at the architecture and other visual peculiarities that it can give you, and do not forget to analyze what the light is like during the day in said location.
As an optional step, you can sketch poses to use as memory aids in your photo session.
The photo shoot Carry out your photo shoot based on the mood board you created. Keep in mind where the sun is and try pointing the model in different directions, see how that translates to your camera. Also feel free to try things outside of your sketches; you can improvise if you come up with ideas during the session. Let your creativity flow!
Retouch your photos Select and retouch your photos following the advice I gave you and others that you have learned from other places. Do lots of trials until you get a result you like. Finally, share them with the world!
Have fun, experiment, discover your style and you will be great! Don't be afraid to walk new paths, let your curiosity and creativity take command, they will surely help you create amazing things. Share your project by clicking "Create your project". In addition to photographs of each stage of the process. Also share a short text in which you talk about your experience in making it. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you've accomplished. I will give you feedback as soon as possible. However, I ask you to be patient, as it may take a while for me to reply to you. While you wait, I ask you to share with your classmates everything you have learned during the course. Remember that traveling this path accompanied by your colleagues will make it more enjoyable. See you soon!”
