“Designing Based on Materials In this lesson, I’ll show you how to design based on the material. It wasn’t my lot in life to have academic training as a regular artist. I had to use my intuition, my experience, and a good amount of creativity to create a different way of designing. I work by placing the elements in front of me, touching and looking at them, and using all my senses to create a sketch that brings me to an original design.
