Begin by learning more about Cecy's work, how she got started in illustration, and how she ended up immersed in the world of 3D design. Take a look at the influences that inspire her.

She explains the first steps to bring a character to life, starting with paper. See her work process from scratch. She gives you some tips to overcome your fear of the blank page.

Afterwards, she shows you the essential tools to start modeling in Maya and explains how to create a custom toolbar within the program to have on hand all the commands you need to model your characters.

Once you have familiarized yourself with the software, start to model your character using basic geometric shapes, creating the essential shapes first and the details later.

Later on, design some accessories around the character and add colors and lighting to add more realism.

Cecy tells you about the rendering engines that Maya uses and talks about which parameters to modify based on how you use the project.

Finally, discover the different commercial applications your characters can have, and Cecy gives you some suggestions for how you can use your 3D creations.
