Before I say goodbye, I want to leave some tips on how to complete your final project: • Choose the theme of your nonfiction book. First, make a list of your favorite themes and do a quick research about them. Then pick one and do thorough research taking notes and writing some keywords. • Write two spreads of your book (first spread and glossary, with 3 to 4 entries), thinking about the best devices to engage the audience in your writing. • Sketch freely with pencil both spreads of your book and select the final colors. Then make your final sketches with markers with the actual size of the book, thinking about color separation, to help your work on the next step. • Trace the drawings done before and do the final artworks with black acrylic paint over acetate. • Finally, scan all the layers, make adjustments and add color digitally.
