Requirements and materials
No previous experience is needed.
In terms of materials, Ingela uses Adobe Illustrator and Procreate, but you can use traditional tools like colored paper and pencils if you prefer. If you decide to work digitally, you will also need access to a printer. Glue is required to put your book and box together.

Ingela P Arrhenius is a Swedish illustrator who has over 30 years of experience in her field. She has been drawing and making things for as long as she can remember, and first started her creative career in an advertising agency. From there, she took part-time classes in everything from oil painting to drawing before going on to study graphic design full-time at Bergh School of Communication. After graduating, she set up her business as a freelance illustrator, working on magazines, book covers, advertising campaigns, and more before publishing her first children’s book in 1994.
Since then, Ingela has published 10 books in collaboration with her scriptwriter husband and worked with a number of brands on international projects, including stamps for The Swedish Post and a series of limited-edition beauty products for Biotherm. She has also been commissioned to create print patterns for fabrics, wallpaper, stationery, packaging, home accessories, toys, and more.
