Creative Coding: Making Visuals with JavaScript

Um bom curso com exercicios praticos.

Exactly as advertised so far. This is a great class if you are wanting to explore generative digital art. Everything is explained in a way that you don't need a background in programming, and it is not a course on programming as much as it is about using the libraries available to compose experimental art pieces which is exactly what I was looking for. Great instructor.

Me encanto el curso, ya habia estudiado algo de codificacion en Java y este curso me ayudo a entender un poco mas sobre codificacion en general ya que son similares. El curso se entiende muy bien y es muy interesante crear con codigo objetos en movimiento e imagenes que cambian de manera aleatoria. Pronto tomare la segunda parte que sigue de este curso!

El curso me está gustando mucho, el profesor explica genial, y si tienes conocimientos matemáticos te puede sorprender. Pero no es para una persona que no sepa nada de programación, sino para alguien que conozca por lo menos algún lenguaje de programación.
Es una pena que la traducción al español sea tan pésimamente mala. Necesitas saber inglés, si no, es imposible. Es muy molesto y no es culpa de los profesores, sino de Domestika. Por esto no puedo recomendar este curso.

The course is great and also very inspiring. However, there are two few things to keep in mind:
1- If you're an absolute newbie in coding, I recommend you to study the very basics first, since the introductory part of the course is brief. It's a great recap, though.
2- The pace gets really fast in the second half of the course. If you're not very good at math (which I'm definitely not), things could get really messy.
But, overall, the content and didactic is great.

I like the contents of this course, however I do feel that the pace is a little too fast and I have a feeling I am only getting very superficial information.

Inspiring course

I love that this course has a basic tutorial for JavaScript. Since I don't have any background in coding, it has made it much easier for me to learn. Through this course, I have gained a better understanding of creative coding.

This course was so much fun!
I am a software engineer so knew all the basic concepts but I really liked how Bruno explained them and I recommend this course if you have no experience with Javascript.
I recommend watching the video through once and then again doing the code along with Bruno.
I have purchased the second course and I am looking forward to starting it.

At the moment, I'm in second unit and I must say, the instructor's pace is fast, both in terms of speaking and writing. I find myself struggling to keep up and have to pause and re-watch the lectures multiple times. If you don't have any prior experience with coding, then you might find this course challenging. The instructor focuses on teaching you how to achieve a particular outcome using code, but doesn't provide much information on how to use similar functions to create other designs.
