Dip Pen and Ink Illustration: Capturing The Natural World

I loved this course so much. It's one of the most useful I've ever done. I'm so happy with the result of my project.

Let me first say that I am a complete beginner here! I ordered my first dip pen set recently for a different Domestika course, and when it arrived it came with NO instructions whatsoever. I had been quite excited to receive the dip pen, tips, and inks but had no idea what to do with them. I so appreciate the level and clarity of instruction in this course!

This is a wonderful course for anyone interested in learning pen and ink. Philip's demonstrations are very clear and easy to follow. I am into botanical painting with water colours and this has given be another beautiful way of doing them. Definitely one of the best courses on Domestika!

This course is excellent. I found the lessons easy to follow. Everything is explained clearly. It also includes additional resources, which are very useful. I now feel really inspired and I am confident that with some practice, I can create drawings that reflect my local environment and wildlife.

Very helpful, I learned basic techniques that will be applied to all future works. He teaches with a very slow, easy-to-follow rhythm.

I really enjoyed this course. The teacher is very good at what he does. The warm up exercises where very helpful for getting a good feel for how the dip pen works. I definitely recommend this course
