“Calculating Stitches According to Measurements In this lesson, I’ll show you how to calculate the number of stitches your sweater will need. Have all the work you did before taking measurements at hand. Also keep at hand the number of stitches and rounds your swatch had. That’s the most important information when approaching a new design. There’s no preexisting information to tell you how many stitches and rounds your sweater must have to achieve a particular size, whether it’s yours or someone else’s, so we’ll do some math. We won’t be doing much crocheting, but once this is out of the way...”
