“Focal Point In this lesson, we'll paint the focal point, which is the barn. There are a few things to think about when you're doing a focal point. First, you want to have more detail on your focal points than the rest of the painting. On top of that, it's nice with a few sharp contrasts as well because it's an effective way to catch the viewer's attention.
