About the final project for: Interior Design: Boost Your Brand or Business

Interior Design: Boost Your Brand or Business

“We have reached the end of the course. Thank you very much for having accompanied me; I hope I have inspired you to design unique and memorable spaces. It is very important to understand the meaning of brand equity, as well as define its personality so that it is reflected through the space you design for yourself or for your client. Also remember the importance of developing the concept of design and creating a story around it that enhances the values of the brand. Making a mind map or any other creative technique can help you organize your ideas. The distribution of the space and the study of the route are key pieces and must always be adapted to the needs of your client. Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your designed space and the steps that have led you to it. Next, we are going to review the key phases of the project. It would be great if you showed me a picture of each phase and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. Subject Remember that I proposed the following topics: beauty center, hardware store, artisan canned goods store and free theme. Choose the one you prefer. Definition of brand values You can ask someone to pretend to be the client or you can imagine what the brand you are going to work with will be like. Do the exercises that we follow in Unit 2 to learn more about the brand and discover its values. Among all the values, my client first chose 10 values, of those 10 she highlighted 5 and, finally, she selected "enjoyment" as the main value.

Concept and history Through the creative technique you prefer (it can be the mind map or another that has been explained to you during the course) develop the concept of your design.
Technical briefing Fill in the form of your client's technical briefing as we saw in Unit 3. Try to imagine the real needs that your client might have and create a list with all of them. Locate it in a neighborhood that you know to detect in a simpler way the needs that you can cover. Zoning of the plane Order in it all the services or products that your space will offer. Remember that in the distribution of space we go from the general to the particular to be able to analyze each area and how the different services and products work in it.
Space design Create the layout of your project, including the furniture and decorative elements that you propose in it. You can make the design in 3D or create a collage, color sketches, or any other technique with which you feel comfortable to explain the final aesthetics of your project. It would also be great if you designed a piece of furniture or decorative element that adds value to the brand and enhances your project.
Presentation to the client Finally, organize all the information to create the final dossier of your project. This dossier will be similar to the one that you will deliver in a real project, remember to order the information clearly and from the general to the particular, always beginning to explain the concept on which you have based to carry out the project. So I too will be able to understand the complete project. In the additional resources of Unit 5 I have left you the presentation that we prepared for our client so that you can have it as a reference. This is our work:
I hope you apply the knowledge you have acquired during the course in your final project. I encourage you to design a unique space full of creativity, you can do it! I really want to see what ideas you have had to enhance your brand or that of your client, and what is the story behind your project. I'm looking forward to seeing your work, it sure will be great! I will go through the forum as much as I can to give you feedback. The forum is also a great space for you to connect with a community of creatives who, like you and me, share a passion for interior design. I encourage you to participate actively. And you know… This adventure has only just begun! See you soon!! ”
