Colombian graphic designer and illustrator Daniela Ilustra, who has worked with clients like Editorial Planeta, KUPA, and the Ministry of Culture in Bogotá, teaches you her method as well as the basic techniques for creating colorful brushstrokes full of volume using your iPad.

Start the course getting to know Daniela as she talks about her career so far in the world of illustration and some of her defining pieces. She also shares some of the artists and illustrators that she most admires.
Then explore the Procreate interface and its basic tools, looking closely at brushes. See how to use everyday life as a source of inspiration before learning to manually create different textures from reference photos and test them on your first sketches.
Next, Daniela teaches you to create a color palette and define the overall feel of your composition. After editing the colors in Procreate, it's time to add your analog textures! Finish off your illustration using brushes, applying color, and finally, adding shadows and other elements to give your piece volume.
Once you're happy with your illustration, discover how to export your file from Procreate and share it on Instagram. To wrap up the course, Daniela shows you some other analog mediums and techniques that can be used to boost your compositions and take your work to new heights.

I like this course. She explains step by step how to sketch in Procreate.
She moves between analog and digital illustration with Procreate and her artwork seeks to revive and foster themes such as femininity and daily life.
