About the final project for: Creative Sketchbooking: Explore and Play with Illustration

Creative Sketchbooking: Explore and Play with Illustration

“We have reached the end of this path of creativity and search. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Before we say goodbye, let's review the key phases of the project. I would like you to briefly explain what you have done in each one and accompany the explanation with one or more images. Connections Choose the elements of your notebook that you want to integrate the scene that you are going to illustrate. You can create connections between them and build your own universe. In the first lesson of Unit 4 you can see all the elements of my notebook that I selected to make up my final illustration.

Sketch After deciding the elements you are going to use and your color palette, make a sketch, taking into account spatial concepts and visual weights. Analyze how you are going to distribute the colors you choose. This is your time to plan. Next, cleanly transfer your sketch to a heavyweight, fine-grain paper. This will allow you to work with the wet techniques to integrate well and leave with a more professional finish.
Illustration and color Start working on your original. Remember to start with the back planes and the lighter colors.
Retouches Lastly, go through everything and add texture details and finishing touches to your illustration.
Now share your final project with the community by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result and the steps that have led you to it. I am looking forward to seeing your project and giving you feedback. Although I ask for your patience, I will try to access the forum as much as I can and what my professional projects allow me. Finally, I want to invite you to actively participate in the forum, not only sharing your progress, but also giving advice and trying to help the rest of the community. See you on the forum!”
